Looks a decent player, but doesn’t he play Dack’s role?

Re: Calling all parents

Not crashing is always the best option. Given we were moments behind a fatal head on collision caused by someone racing the wrong way along a Belfast motorway on Sunday, it should be noted it's sometimes not an option. Taking an attitude that we were ok so that's safe enough is obviously flawed thin...

Re: Calling all parents

If you're never going to move it and are confident and patient enough to use the seatbelt, that's fine. Mrs Top was swayed by the safety advice. But for me, I just want something I know I've installed correctly every time we move it. This particular one won't need replacing and at £220 seemed good v...

Re: Calling all parents

Curious as to why the absolutely no non-isofix fittings stance? Is it because of the I-Size regulations? Mrs Top's insistence, which I was happy to go along with... I've read they're easier to fit correctly, and having struggled with my sister-in-law's seat-belt one earleir this year that's a good ...

Re: Calling all parents

Dunno, it's definitely a different model though - the Every Stage was on the shelf below when we looked at them. Only saw good reviews for the one we got.

Re: Calling all parents

Not sure if it's the one you went for RTT, but I noticed that the Joie Every Stage FX has a Which rating of 42% and the following Don't Buy product warning attached . Product alert This child car seat has passed the regulatory tests required by ECE R44/04 to be sold as suitable for children from 9-...

Re: Calling all parents

Not to hijack the thread, but mini Dan is also on the way later in the year, and we're in exactly the same minefield with you. There appears to be plenty of options depending on where you look, but everything seems to be either expensive for what it is, or incredibly cheap and useless looking. Ther...

You knew it was coming! Sky knew it too and yes, he has been disqualified from the tour. Just like US Postal.
Did he not have a relevant TUE form?

Ugh. Disagree entirely on the blue. Far, far, far too light.

Re: England Squad

VAR in theory is great. VAR as implemented by the prats at FIFA has been a predictable fiasco. Highlighting the times it's corrected a bad decision misses the point that that's what it should do as the default, it's not a bonus to get some right. There's been too many occasions where it's not been r...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I can understand going to the wrong car in a big car park when you're in an unfamiliar vehicle. But why would you leave your car unlocked with the keys in it when you go shopping?
