Get used to new facebook, it's really a lot better once you've figured out the differences.

Having no facebook is better than happiness? :-? I'd have gone with:

no facebook + real friends = happiness

but each to their own...

The only reason i use facebook is to keep in touch with friends that were at uni with me but are now spread out across the country/world, and for keeping in touch with the girlfriend that lives 100 miles away. I dont use it to talk to people i can see whenever i want in 'real' life.

Thats exactly the opposite to why I use it.

I use it because its easier/cheaper to send people a message on facebook to arrange to meet up than it is to text 15 people.... and people check their facebook more than their e-mail.

I have stubbornly refused all but the most basic contact with people who i went to school/uni with unless we were good friends... its wierd playing catch-up with people that you're not sorry you don't see anymore.

Lets get a Roverstalk group going... and if anyone wants to add the fat Tyke in our midst... then just add this handsome devil...

I really don't like adding other people, so I just kinda wait for people to add me and then filter out the garbage. :D

You will receive unlimited access to my archive of drunken pictures of me, my friends and family. Not to mention my often amusing ravings and rumblings and stuff like that.

I refer again to the equation above:

no facebook + real friends = happiness

I guess it's because I'm not the sentimental type, but doesn't having a girlfriend 100 miles away defeat the point of having a girlfriend? Not that it's any of my business anyway and feel free to tell me to fuck off if you wish... :D

Fuck off :D

We were together for a year at uni, and we've both graduated now and gone back to our own homes. We did think about ending it but decided to stay together and see if we could make it work. I'm currently looking for a job down in Nottingham so i can go and live down there, although it is kind of hard searching for jobs when you're 100 miles away.
