It would be great to see him back at Ewood one day, up there in my favourite ever players. He could get them across for a friendly.
I can still remember the save he made in the League Cup final, Ferdinand through 1v1 and FRiedel just comes out and picks the ball up from at his feet.

What's Tugay up to these days? We could have a friendly pre-season knockout comp full of teams coached by ex popular Rovers players

Coyle had Ross County players “training for cakes and Irn-Bru every day when we needed to be preparing for big games in the Premiership".

I too find Rylan fucking irritating but I wouldn’t write a stupid tweet like that about it. Of all the places to work and be irritated by LGBT culture.

Except it wasn't in Brighton, it was 6/7 years ago while he was a teenager at Everton. Doesn't excuse it, but teenagers are naive, twitter was new, and we really need to get away from this culture of fishing through past tweets from years ago looking for anything to hold against anyone.

Boring! We should name, shame and string them all up, and hope no one ever finds our own skeletons to use against us... :D

And commiserations to Mark Bunn on Villa's beach for not being able to make it.

Martin Olsson is turning out for Sweden against the Danes tonight. I thought he’d lost his place in the national side to be honest, hence why it caught my attention.

What happend to Sweden's team? They used to be good and they've been just Zlatan plus 10 for so long.... Looks to be continuing as Forsberg plus 10 now

I suspect part of the issue is that the Allsvenskan is an improbably poor standard of football. Not a single Swedes playing in Sweden has been picked for the national team (though one chap Fromm Östersunds is in the Iran squad and I think there are one or two others in other squads). They just don’t have a good player development system, they rely heavily on foreign teams developing their youth teams. It’s just not a priority. I was speaking with a friend and he couldn’t believe we have football teams for every school year group in England, whereas here it’s unusual to even have a school football team.
