Hearts v Blackburn Rovers

Post by IhateHibs » Sat Aug 07, 2010 12:08 pm

Hi guys

I am a Hearts fan (Jambo) and as you probs know we play you guys today in Edinburgh.

How are your boys shaping up? we should not be too much a problem for you today as basically we couldn't score in a brothel.

Are there many of you guys coming up, or indeed up already?

If so hope you have a nice trip

cheers

At the moment we're still looking VERY shakey, but signs are there that we could start to improve. Hearing you describe Hearts current form I could very well be listening to someone talking about Rovers...

THrough a combination of bizarre managerial decisions - we'd found ourself for much of pre season with only ONE striker, Jason roberts, who, while a very good player (debated by many) is not the finest goal scoring talent on the planet.

However, we've just signed Mame Diouf from Utd on a season long loan and hopefully Niko Kalinic should be back from injury for this match, so that leaves us with a comparatively respectable 3 choices before we have to resort to jamming midfielders in there.

Defensively we look pretty sound, but we could do with some more creativity and quality in midfield to support Dunn.

Incidentally, I suggest you look out for our star players Grella, Chimbonda, El Hadj Diouf and Andrews. And if possible get your club to put an offer in. :D

Would imagine you will send your reserves out today as i've just noticed you play C*ltic tomorrow aswell.
I think it is going to be another long season for Hearts but hey ho.

1-1 apparently report here. Mame Diouf scored for us.

The Senegalese international drilled home from a tight angle on the hour mark, after Morten Gamst Pedersen had flicked on El-Hadji Diouf's cross.
