You're coming to the wrong place in that case - OK.
In that case you're coming to the wrong place - OK.
You're coming to the wrong place, in that case - Fail.

Someone is going to the incorrect location in a suitcase?

Huge FAIL.

Adding a comma doesn't change the way you choose to interpret the word case. Arsetalking boy! :D

Yes, it does, arsefaced weasel!

NOT:

"Yes it does arsefaced weasel!" - meaning something "does arsefaced weasel". Maybe 'arsefaced weasel' is a character. Maybe "it" does a good impression of arsefaced weasel.

You could still make that same misinterpretation with the comma: "you're coming to the wrong place, in that (suit)case". It's probably better to use the word "then" instead of "in that case" to avoid confusion... :hyper:

Your example is in a different context (and therefore irrelevant) to Gibbon's sentence. Cheers though.

You've just got a comma fetish. Sick.

I think Willy would want a comma in there.

*grammatical

Just saying.
