far as im concerned, field a weak side with players like goodwillie etc. League has to have full focus

Got tickets to this one :D Think we'll play a reserve team but have a feeling we'll win.

I think Ba and Tiote leave for the ACN after this game. So think Newcastle won't bother resting them. :(

Yea. forfeit this match. 19 more games to go in the league and to survive a minimum of 7 games has to be won. I've done the math already with at least 4 draws.

Play a strong side, go for the win and morale boost. Playing a weak team in the carling cup did more harm than good; I would see the same happening here.

The score all depends on how Newcastle approach the game. 3-0 if the they take it seriously, or 1-0/2-0 if they don't

I really can see us not winning again for quite a long while and still some people won't smell the coffee

Can't see us winning this but it would be nice to boost morale and go far in the cup

This game represents a fairly low priority, even though winning is a good habit, I'd be more inclined to protect key players and continue to get our vital players back fit ready for Fulham.

Take a strong bench but rest key players.

Lowe Hanley Givet Henley
-------Petrovic Dunn
Vukcevic Formica Rochina
----------Goodwillie

Poor Lowe, now destined to only ever be played at right back.

I'd just like to make a point of saying that this is the first time I have agreed with MrBlackBat.
