If you like atmosphere and you want to be right next to the away fans get a season ticket in the darwen end because so many people have recently changed to the darwen and we want to look big compared to clubs in the championship espaecially burnley! :yeahright:

I reckon that having a 'singing section' in the Darwen End has ruined the atmosphere in Blackburn End.

Don't think so. They had planned a gap between the early bird ending and them announcing the price of the ticket for next year (the increase - lets not kid ourselves). I assume the changes in staff at the club has slowed that down a little.

I'd suggest that relegation and the continued hostile and negative reaction from the fanbase has made it a very difficult task to set prices for next season. Even without staff changes. Since I don't think there's much demand for STs at the moment, they might be better off holding off releasing the new prices until Venky Rao stops being confused...

It would be logical.............but ;)

I'd expect the prices to be announced in the next fortnight because usually they have the 2nd week of July as swap your seat day and they did say they would hold onto ST holders seats if they didn't take on the pie in the sky offer of premiership football at last seasons prices

It went downhill gradually over the last few years to be fair. The Darwen End and unreserved element of it is fantastic... stand and sing together, no moaners etc.

The Blackburn End lower has become an extension to the Family Stand, which is fine as long as everyone is happy.

The Darwen End has been the most vocally critical stand in the latter part of the season.
