And would also be irrelevant if there were cause Venkys don't seem to have any inclination to sell.....

Your fans got it right yesterday.

Got behind the team, during the game, until all was virtually lost, and saved the 'Venkys Out' stuff for after the game, which was heard during the player interviews.

Don't think our fans were too hard on you, we would have prefered either Forest or Birmingham to go down instead, or failling that a points deduction for the ra ra's.

Good luck for next season.

Same to you! Maybe a playoff team, in a new stadium

I heard the Oyston's had made an offer to Venkys.

Mrblackbat,
I value your past comments on this issue; it appears in the event there is/are a potential buyer(s), there would be 3 options-
1) the Rao's almost certainly would not take what they paid (23 mil), so,
2) how about what they paid plus losses (roughly 129 mil- I can't see any buyer doing this), or
3) a nominal figure somewhere in-between?

Conceivably, they could ask for more... considering the club has done nothing but drop down two tables since they bought in, I can't see this 4th option occurring.

I could see them signing it in an amount per year contract, if Venkys sold off Blackburn. Who knows though. I just hope they can find a good executive to run the club for them.

So, just so I've got your question right.....

You think they might sell for the amount they paid for the club, or more, or less? :?

I think you're missing the most likely option:-

Venky's don't want to sell.

Obviously not true in the slightest. Rovers fine owners would never be involved in such a thing.

Good... I hope they lose lots of money and as a consequence rovers go into administration and barrel down to the evostick 3rd division.

The comments on that article are great... 1 brfcs stalwart who probably reads the Indian papers religiously praying for the, and a kidney harvesting scammer.

You'd never be able to write an article worded that way here!

Things have been well of late. Why did someone have to mention the owners :(
