Blackburn Rovers/QPR, Feb. 4

Nothing smart or catchy to say, that we haven't already said: This falls into the category of "must win".

Leave it to the hucksters to make the poll.

I would categorize this as a must win too.

It isn't a must win. They are usually reserved for teams chasing promotion. We just have to make sure we lose less than those chasing relegation. With Wigan losing tonight against Sheffield Wednesday we have to do our best not to lose...again.

But, its critical time where 1 pt doesn't even really help much. That would be ok, if we already had 35 pts or so. But we are behind and falling even further behind. We need 3's vs QPR & Rotherham.

We have to get all 3 this weekend & hope Burton loses. Once again that's just for this weekend, we have to win again next time. It's just more more pressure to win which we haven't been doing much this year.

Reckon we need 50 points to be reyt. You'd target this as three. I'd be extremely disappointed if we got nothing, and a little peeved if we only draw.

Wonder what Coyle sees, when he looks at film of both those 1-0 wins over magpies?! We need more of that.

I for sure would take an ugly 1-0 win over a 3-2 loss every week.

you make a good point. surely those two wins against Newcastle would be a decent blueprint to follow

Not sure we will have much success being under pressure for 90 min, having 30% of the ball and hoping to poach one agaist the run of play on a consistent basis. Our strategy can't be to hope our opponent has an off day finishing their 35 chances.

I don't see how playing with 3 wingers is going to work
