Sheffield Wednesday/Blackburn Rovers, Feb. 14

Strangely, no guesses or predictions for this game, except this: I expect Jordan Rhodes to get some cheers from the visiting end at Hillsborough tomorrow.

Rhodes will inevitably score, but more importantly where on earth is the poll?

Looking at the fixtures the rest of this week, we have a chance to climb out of the cellar. A chance, not neccesarily a good one.

Burton/Norwich Saturday; but Rovers will have to pull off the improbable today.

Lenihan possibly still unwell so is a doubt meaning yet another change at centre back, likely to see Brown with Mulgrew. The prospect of keeping a clean sheet seems highly unlikely let alone actually getting any points.

Will be interesting to see Coyle's team selection for tonight as I think Mahoney is fully deserving of a start as is Emnes. If we're going to do anything tonight we'd be better off sitting deep and hitting on the break so the pace of Mahoney, Emnes and Feeney could be key.

Akpan simply has to come back into the side and Coyle is making noises to that effect, without question he is better than Lowe who simply needs to be taken well away from central midfield.

Our roster resembled a "picked chicken", after the departure of Duffy & Marshall. Spare parts, kiddie corps, & geriatrics notwithstanding.

I am still somewhat amazed the defence has been as decent as it has. If we get Hoban back, it will be even better.

Still need a win tonight given our last draw.

We'd have needed a win if we'd have won too ;)

And for completeness, if we'd have lost as well.

Nah I disagree. If we had beaten Roth I would had settled for a draw today. As we dropped 2 points we now need to pick them up in this game. Then beat Burton.

I think we just need to look where the good away grounds will be in League 1.

Actually, I like our starting 11, & the bench looks fair, as well, with Emnes, Conway, etc.

So, what happens, we either concede inside 3', or at 90+2?

I'm sure he can't play against his parent club? But I actually like the look of our midfield today.
