Some dickhead pretends to be Tony Mowbray and phones Balaji. Because antagonising the people who pay the bills is always going to end well. Still, at least everyone on BRFCS seems to think it's brilliant.

Too bad, we could've waited one day & Ranieri would've fallen in our laps!

Indeed. What a ridiculous decision by Leicester.

I read the transcript. People really have completely lost their shit about this phone and how amazing it is. I don't get it. It's a really dull conversation about nothing.

The fact they've gone from being so good to being so bad shows how ridiculous it is to always point the blame at the manager. Either he's gone from being brilliant to incompetent in the blink of an eye, or a more important factor in their success has changed since last season...

...N'Golo Kante looks well set to win a second PL medal, doesn't he? :yeahright:

The fact they've gone from being so good to being their usual standard shows how ridiculous it is to always point the blame at the manager.

All good points from a man who certainly knows the challenges of thr job, the restraints by the embargo and the challenges of the owners.

I just read where Ward & Hoban are fit & with U-23's tonight. Both of these guys will be a big shot in the arm for the club when they are back.

I'm still not clear how you think a different owner is going to be able to put in more money when the rules stop you doing it.
Because a new owner would presumably have to pay off at least some of the Venky's debt in order to acquire the club? I haven't read the FFP rules, but if we're debt free or in minimal debt, we can presumably start buying some players again? Anyway, it's all conjecture and Venky's are obviously sticking around for the foreseeable future.

No mate, it doesn't work like that. The debt level is irrelevant. It's all about profit/loss RIGHT NOW which is why boycotting games hurts the club so much and is counterproductive. We could be in 4 billion of debt and have it wiped out by a new owner but without new revenue streams or reduced expenditure then nothing changes in terms of investment allowed. Likewise we could have 100 trillion of debt but if we were making more profit, we could spend more. You should probably check out the FFP rules.
