I'm not sure that all of our players have always been working very hard, mind. But as you say, that's probably why we aren't doing well!
*cough* Duffy *cough* Marshall...

I've always liked the motto myself.

It's a nice motto; but doesn't really have any relevance.

Honestly, nobody really cares about the motto.
what you should have said is:

Honestly, Wacorover, Thorisgodpoo and Gibbon care about the motto, possibly some others too, but it doesn't really have any relevance.

Or: nobody cares about the motto, except those that do.

Seems to be a fairly verbose way of saying 'Some people care about the motto'

Except those that don't. Except those that don't, but secretly do. But don't.

Saw a stat doing the rounds on Twitter and it does stack up, but since Burnley at every club Coyle managers he loses more games than he wins, at every club Mowbray has managed he wins more than he loses.

If he carries on with the same win ratio as he has so far, I'll probably be satisified with him. Just.

I think our next poll should be, do you like the club motto as is? Or, Do you like the club motto, with just a tweak (like, skill, hard work & cheeseburgers); or, I like [insert other motto] better than ours; or I want a new club motto?

For the record: I like our current club motto. ;)

Mowbray's record is decent just looking purely at the numbers. If you look deeper, his time at Celtic looks disappointing given their superiority in Scotland. But then it was probably good going to win as many as he lost in a tough job at Coventry. I don't think he's a bad manager, I was surprised by the negativity at his appointment. But he's walked into a tough job that will be hard to come out of with brilliant stats. If he keeps us up I think he'll deserve a lot of praise.

I've thought for most of the season that it'll be two of us, Wigan and Burton joining Rotherham in going down. But Lambert seems to be working his magic at Wolves and Bristol City are also in freefall. We could survive... :hyper:
