Forest gave Wigan a point too.
If Bristol manage to beat Villa on Tuesday, and Rovers can't get anything against Derby, there'll be an ominous 5 point gap and a game still in hand for Wolves :|

Or if villa win 4-0 and we won 4-0 we jump out the relegation zone. We then drag Wolves deeper into it and one win away from Burron with a game in hand. Just another way of looking at it :D

Defo not a point gained. Bristol city came away with a point the same as us but used up an away trip to top of the league (at the time).

But still a point gained, because we have one more point than we did before the match, meeting, entirely, the definition of gaining.

Does not feel like we gained anything from the match to me. We received a point but gained nothing compared to the teams we are in direct competition with. Obviously everyone knows what you are getting at. Put in its simplest terms we gained a point. You also know what I am getting at. We gained nothing in terms of league table from the 1 point we received. Bristol city came out better than us this weekend even.

Surely both our points are valid? Why you just responding to this one?

Because it was a point gained. Whether you think it feels like it was or not bears no impact on the fact we gained a point.

Apply your logic further and no team ever gains any points, just drop 2 or 3 if they draw or lose respectively. Which is clearly bonkers.

But, we are rapidly reaching the point, where a single, solitary point means little. 3-pointers are needed.

Is my...er...point...a valid one? ;)

Depends if you're trying to gain one or drop one I guess...

We're not entitled to 3 points from an away game at a club above us in the league. It's that kind of thinking that leads to rash chop-and-change decisions that generally do more harm than good.

No point gained. Just 2 dropped. Only joking. Jesus you must of been bored yesterday to poke holes in it from the start. Nice to see the old gang sticking together again as per usual. Yes we got a point but it now feels like 2 dropped. Bristol city did better than us this weekend. It's not like you didn't understand that from what I put at the start.
