Good set of results, like how Mowbray is setting up the team.
Didn't look to dissimilar to Coyle
I don't recall Coyle starting Nyambe, or playing both Gallagher and Emnes if Graham was available up top.

And whilst Coyle always seemd to want to put Mulgrew in midfield I still think we need him at centre back more.
Still pretty similar I thought too - as was their lack of confidence as soon as they took the lead. What was noticeable was a slightly different attitude in defending - a bit more eagerness to throw themselves around. I've always said that an awful lot of football comes down to confidence and luck and small things can change that.

Ah, but what does the fact we were drawing and Bristol were drawing at half time mean for us? I'm so confused by this new points system.

I'm not going to get carried away with Mowbray after one week, I remember some crowing about how Lambert was the answer to all our problems after just 3 or 4 games... Speaking of which, I notice we're only 2 points behind Wolves now - maybe Ben Marshall was the problem? :D

But there is a "cloud lifting" feel at the moment.

How many times did you see Roy Castle winning the Premier League though.

It meant it felt like we had gained nothing on Bristol city. You do see the importance of how other teams are doing around us right? Like Bristol city last weekend at the time when 2 nil up v's Newcastle it was making it feel like we had dropped 2 points against Burton rather than gaining 1 point once Bristol had drawn. Very simple.

To be fair, he died when it was still a relatively new project...

Had he looked like winning the first division prior to that?

OK - I THINK I've fixed everything. I now have a folder in my Roverstalk backup drive called 'upgrade nightmare' though.

I assumed you were installing an anti-bickering script judging by how many posts randomly vanished. :D
