because we gained the same number of points as Bristol City, it means we didn't gain any points. Or something. I think it just always matters what Bristol City do.
Ah but Bristol City are now below us, so doesn't that mean we actually gained two points?
Ah, and so we GAINED FOUR POINTS ON BRISTOL? The two that we gained, plus the two that they lost?
I'm definitely confused now.

After watching the highlights, Ryan Nyambe and Conner Mahoney pairing on the right side looks like it could be great. Nyambe looks like a real gem and Mahoney we already know about. I just hope.we can hold onto them for as long as possible.

Since Bristol City got the same points as us then us or they didn't gain or lose a point on each other but if they had lost they'd have lost a point on us.
And since Wolves and Burton drew we all gained or lost nothing on each other.
However, Wigan won which means they gained two points on the above mentioned and us which also means that we all dropped two points on Wigan.
However, however all the above mentioned and us all got either 1 point or 3 points more than we had at the start of the match which means we all gained points.
In summary, depending on how you are looking at it will determine the view of if we gained, dropped or got the same points. All depends on context.
