Well, it sort of does because it drags Forest further into the scrap.
I didn't think of that initially, but it does put pressure on them now. 4 clubs within 3 points of the drop zone, pretty good fight at the end of the table.

Unfortunately, Rovers play their game in hand against a Fulham with high confidence on Tuesday. Really need to scrap a point out of it to keep pace.

I don't know - I fancy us for a win at Fulham if Mulgrew is back.

Entertaining second half but definitely a lethargic performance from Rovers. We took our goals well but we rarely made their keeper work other than that.

Happy with a point of course, the disappointment was the ease at which they got their second from a little breakaway.

Also on 70 minutes Whittaker committed a terrible foul on Mahoney and was on a yellow, the ref completely bottled sending him off and called Martin over to have a word. You don't want to see players sent off but they should have been down to 9 men.

The other good thing is it puts Wigan even further behind, so it starts to look more like 1 from 5, rather than 2 from 6.

Watched this game with the Norwich season tickets holders (a torturous experience which I'll never do again) and I was pretty dissapointed that we couldn't take all 3 points after the red card. Our crossing was atrocious, don't remember Graham winning a header unfortunately. Emnes looked quality on the ball but was always facing away from goal, and Akpan tried his best to make it 10 vs 10. Both their goals were also soft.
However, I would've taken a point before the game, and against a very solid Norwich defense I'm happy with it now.

Unfortunate that we drop back into the bottom 3 after a good point away.

Not worth worrying about that - if we keep on picking up points like we are then it'll be fine.

Thanks, Dan. Joao has a knack for being in position to score.

"Knack" might be stretching it a bit; when he scores 2 per game for the remainder of the season, then maybe so....

Who's that that drills it across at him for the first goal? Hard to tell if it's a hopeful ball smacked back in or a shot that's gone horribly wrong.

It was Connor Mahoney
