Don't see how Danny Graham can't start a game myself. We just seem to isolate Gallagher week in, week out and then go for it last 20mins no matter what the scoreline.

Burton Winning
Bristol Winning
Wigan Drawing
Forest Winning

Sounds like it's just a question of when will the axe fall.

We best hope that Birmingham toss their match away tomorrow.

Well that was shit.

And to make matters worse every team we needed to lose...won.

Can't see us staying up unless Birmingham carry on being abysmal and we win on Saturday against Villa.

We are going to need 3 probably 4 points from the last 2. I don't the Birmingham will go without at least 3 points the rest of the way. The last game against Bristol being the most likely to get 3 as they will be safe with nothing to play for.

2 fucking shots on target all game :banghead: I'm lost for words how we're going about trying to stay in this league. Talk about going down with a whimper. I'd rather us be having a go and getting beat than this crop of shit.

Just had a quick look at shots on target over the last 6 games...

Wolves - 2
Bristol - 3
Forest - 1
Barnsley - 2
Reading - 2
Brighton -0

A grand total of 10 shots on target....that is why we are going down

Thats pretty damning.

Once again if we go down, I don't think anybody is safe from the axe. Nobody is indispensable to this organization.

I feel the last couple lineups have really been defensive. He threw out 3 centre backs and it just didn't make sense to not try Joao or Emnes starting.

Next match MUST feature 2 strikers.

I am afraid now 6 pts wouldn't even be enough, the way these other teams are playing.

If Lenihan and Mulgrew are available it would make our defensive options better. Ironically we played our best football against Bristol City with Conway and Bennett as full backs. Mulgrew is probably our best midfielder and is wasted in the back four. A statement of intent would be...
-----------------Raya----------------
Conway---Ward---Hoban---Bennett
Mahoney--Mulgrew--Guthrie--Feeney
---------Gallagher-- Emnes-------------

Plenty of options on the bench with Williams, Akpan, Lowe, Graham, Joao,
You'd start Feeney? Are you feeling okay?
Not the best option by far i argee but with placing our best wingers in the full back positions i had no other options available. On second thoughts maybe drop Feeney and go 4-3-3 and introduce either Joao or Graham. On Blackbats comments that Mulgrew is better in defence than midfield for Rovers again i can only agree but i felt the last time out against Bristol City both Lowe and Akpan were ineffective and we need someone in their that can make a difference. On the result it was clear Rovers were scared of losing the game. I would have taken a point before the game but this means we are now dependent on Rovers obtaining more points against Villa than Birmingham can. We need to take this to the last game of the season and give us a chance.

Now we have to beat villa. Even QPR can be dragged into this if we win. They have to play Forrest next as well. Goal difference between teams is not much either. A 2 nil win for us next and a 2 nil loss for Forrest and we go into the last game completely even. Come on Rovers!!!!!!!
