Why sign anyone when you can get someone on loan?
Why get someone on loan when you can just bring a kid through the youth team?

I saw someone say that they would rather have him than Rhodes the other day. Made me laugh and feel quite sad at the same time.
Was it not that someone said they'd rather have Graham and Mulgrew than Rhodes and Graham? ;)

What about Mulgrew and Rhodes?

Order of preference:

1. Mulgrew and Rhodes (Rhulgrew)
2. Mulgrew and Graham (Grulgrew)
3. Graham and Rhodes (Grodes)

I could point out there's the potential to profit out of bringing through your own youth players on low trainee wages and selling them with a variety of clauses added on. Whereas paying a high salary to a veteran with only a few playing years left and little to no tradeable value is a poor investment. Therefore, paying partial wages to loan a player of similar ability to the veteran would be of benefit, but loaning youth players instead of training your own wouldn't. But that would require taking a more mature attitude to the original point from way back... ;)

Why be mature when you can bring someone in on loan?

Wait. That really doesn't work.

Yea, site is down because of overload I assume. Plus I hear the only sizes left are XL and XXL from Facebook comments section.

Site is back up, long-sleeve shirts are all in stock, short sleeves only XL and 3XL, Away has XL, XXL, and 3XL.

No 3XL left so this fat bloke is heading to the Umbro site and paying a little more. Only buy one kit every so often and never the away kit, after all we’re the blue and whites!
