Discuss all things Rovers related except...

It is something fictional but can we say

Having a "Breaking Bad" (Walter White) character in our team can really help.

Well well here we go again, it will be great to see how TM manages as on the other hand he has got the league match.
Hope a new hero arises for us.

It would be very nice if we could win this game by a healthy margin of goals.

Training room already resembles a MASH unit. Not good this early in the season.

Not really a derby to get the pulse racing. If we lose, which is the most likely outcome, it's just another shovel of misery for Burnley to heap on us. If we win they won't really care that much and I'm sure will happily watch us be all giddy about getting one over them whilst we're wallowing around in League 1 as they sit comfortably in the Premier League.

Bollocks they won't care if we do a giant killing on them. We'll lord it over them how we beat them whilst two divisions down, just like they would if they'd beat us when they were down the league structure.

+1... if anything it's the other way around... if we lose we were expecting to anyway.

Might just be me then, but I'm not really fussed by the result tonight provided no-one gets injured or suspended. Priority this season is promotion so I don't really care about the cups in the slightest despite it being a derby.

I think the point I was making was if I were a Burnley fan and you win tonight you just laugh a bit louder for the next week, if you lose it's a kick in the face you can mask by laughing that we're in League 1.

Deep down you would know that the result was an indication that class was permanent, that your tinpot shed of a ground was only an aberration in the top flight somewhere your vastly superior neighbors were moving inexorably closer to each passing day.

I don't know why but I hope we really win this. We shouldn't need extra stress of more games in our schedule, but I just want to beat Burnley.

This is Burnley's best chance of avenging that 5-0 win we had over them sixteen years ago. Sean Dyche has been Burnley manager far too long now. Time he went and some order was restored in the universe. Roll on next May when hopefully both Rovers and Burnley will be in the same league.

Judging by the weakened team I'd say we don't need to worry about extra fixtures... Unfortunately

1-0 down, a Rovers fan has apparently assaulted a Burnley player, and their fans have brought flares. Sounds interesting.

Probably an ex rovers fan now and didn't flares go out in the 70's? An hour into the game and Rovers haven't had a shot on target.
