Scunthorpe v Blackburn, Tuesday 12 September 2017, 19:45

Discuss all things Rovers related except...

Should the league take a moral stand and force Scunthorpe to rename themselves as Shorpe?

Yes of course!

Mowbray out!
I was getting the impression that was getting serious thought from some fans after the first two games...
It's probably serious thought for some now...

Just got to match this form for the remaining 40 games now...

Spoke to my Dad who was at the game, think we were under a fair bit of pressure first half as Mowbray says. But we took our chance and saw the game out very professionally.

Wimbledon at home next which is an excellent opportunity to make it 5 in a row.

It's the teams that we are beating that I'm also loving at the moment. Bradford 30 odd games unbeaten at home and we beat them. Scrun unbeaten and we beat them on their own turf. Roll on 5 in a row. Well done lads, keep it going.

Did Harper come off due to injury, tactical or just not playing very well?

I saw a comment somewhere that he took a hard hit just before half time.

So what you're saying is we're in League 1 because of your negligence? :x

A tactical groin, or was it just not playing well?

I still don't think we've seen Rovers hit top form yet. When we do, some team is going to leave Ewood with their goal difference severely damaged.

I think the improvement in central midfield, possibly coupled with dropping a division, seems quite evident in these 4 wins. Smallwood and Evans feels like an improvement from Lowe and Akpan/Guthrie with the way they've been playing so far.
