We already have a hero, and he is a great hero. So great in fact that I have never seen him be so great to the likes I have never seen before. His greatness, it is grates other teams. They ask him, "how can you be so great and not be a Geat?" The response he gives them is great, and they wonder how to be great without being a Geat, and that is how Alan Irvine will Make Geats Great Again!

A win would be really good against the number 1 team right now.

Does this game take place before or after the end of the world on the 25th?...these doomsday mongers are real miserable buggers. Why the end of the world cannot take place on Monday morning is beyond me.

One of their nicknames is Salop :?

I was born in Shrewsbury pretty sure I've never been there since.

Indeed I looked it up, colloquial version of the old latin name. The Shrews is the better nickname.

Well I hope the Shrews aren't shrewd.

Rovers sure know how to do things the hard way. We had to go to Bradford and get a result after a poor start to the season and now after hopefully just a glitch last week we have to get the season back on track away at the team that hasn't lost a game yet. Either way it doesn't matter today. We lost two games at the start of the season and bounced back with four wins. Beating Shrewsbury today only gives us three points and this early in the season this means little. But there is another thing of course. Last season's relegation still stings a bit. It's been said we are too good for this league. Let's prove it today by beating the best this league has to offer so far esepically after being so lame last week. It concerns me Craig Conway may not be available today but it's time for someone less to step up like Dack or Chapman to own the game and live up to the hype. Samuel could do with a goal today also.

This.

We are not going to own the pitch week end and week out, but at least we could show we can be our best today

Is refereeing this laid back? They look like some really ugly fouls not getting called...

Kind of woeful now. Not many chances, still hoofing it. Really need to adapt during a game.
