Great win for Rovers tonight. Shame about Wigan's late winner - puts us 6 from top 2 instead of 4, albeit with a game in hand.

Still, I think tonight exemplified Arte (E.g. Chapman) et Labore (E.g. Smallwood) :D

Glad to be back in the win column again. Indeed, it appears skill & hard work seem to be paying off :D This team is progressing nicely, & that's all I wanted at this point. Cautiously optimistic, best describes my mood.

We may indeed go back up, but, we're seeing promotion isn't going to be as easy as perhaps some had predicted.

Rovers now on 16 points with 13 of them coming from teams currently in the top half of the league. Hopefully the mistakes against the bottom half clubs have ended with only three points coming from teams currently in the bottom half. Nuts isnt it!!

So if you extrapolate our league form so far over a whole season, we end up in the play-offs, based on any given season. And if you extrapolate our form since game 3 we end up winning probably any given season (with 105 pts).

Just saying

I see the BBC is not giving anything, other than the score, and time elapsed (1-0, 56').

Official team site isn't even giving that.
Rich Sharpe at the Lancashire Telegraph usually gives a pretty decent text commentary.
Gibbon, thanks, I'll give it a try next time!

I know you're "down south" but it's not technically overseas yet is it?

Speaking of Twitter... Did I miss a memo that Harry Chapman was the greatest footballer of all time?
