After Nuttall''s goal, it was pretty much all Fleetwood.
So, we didn't protect two leads; glad to get a point, but it shoulda been more.

Are we finding our level now. After fifteen games we are sixth. Still not lost against teams around us but silly defeats have cost us. Eleven points behind second placed Wigan means we have a lot of catching up to do. The way we have played overall so far this season is not good enough for automatic promotion. I dont think Samuel and Bennett would have made a difference tonight. Fair play to Fleetwood they matched us in every department.

Darth, once again, I agree 100%.

Shocked we allowed two goals. We have to find ways to turn some of these tight 1's into 3's.

Don't suppose we scored any back eels?

I am not too worried, draws in the first half of the season are acceptable just to get some points on the board. Sure I would have preferred a win to go above Scunthorpe, but with a game in hand still, plus the Walsall match being postponed makes another game in hand in the future.

I am in the camp that there needed to be a 3rd goal, but Nuttal scoring kind of makes up for it. How did he do?

Went to the game last night. My first at Ewood since April 2016 - hangs head in shame.

Overall I thought we played OK, but god we lack a killer instinct. After a turgid first half we got our noses in front and then conceded the most basic straight down the middle of the park goals - a surprise as our defence had done well up to that point.
On comes Nuttall and immediately Fleetwoods defence became a bag of jitters. He is a big unit and no slouch.
More pressure in the box and feed the "Nut" pops up for our second lead of the night.

It is at this point that good sides not only lock up shop, they also get a third goal and finish the other team by standing on their collective windpipe and sending them off to meet their maker. That's what we appear to be lacking. So instead its them back up our end, a collection of bung it in the box attacks, panic and its 2-2. So frustrating!!

Thought Nyambe had a really good game - battled for everything and very hard to beat for pace.
Whittingham was like a ghost - yet he is the one who is meant to be providing our classy midfield - Tugay he is not!
Nuttall - got be a regular from now on - even if its only from the bench.

Welcome return of 4000 holes fanzine - sat chuckling, whilst reading that, when I eventually got home at 1am.

The defending looks pretty poor on all the goals.

The enigma which is David Raya. Almost cat like reflexes with some outstanding saves but not for the first time out muscled when all he has to do is jump and catch the ball. A goalkeeper must command his six yard area. I would like to see what Leutwiller can do in the upcoming game against Barnet in the FA Cup.

I agree Darth,he drops the ball too often for my liking. His distribution is better than Steele's but still not brilliant.
