There are many, many people who use rocks everyday in their lives. Many. And when I mean many, I mean to the likes of which we have never seen before, ever. These rocks are important, too important if you ask me. They help the rock people figure out rock things like shape of a rock, the size of a rock, the color. I mean, the color is just outrageous, rocks come in any color you want. When I started talking to the rock people, I asked them, "is this a rock? I have never seen a rock this color and, believe me, I have seen a lot of rocks." The rock man told me "It's a rock" while also telling me the others were rocks too. I was so amazed by this color of the rock, it had such colors, big colors, many colors. They were vibrant. And shiny. So from this day forward, I, Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho, declare today as National Rock Day, and will continue to strive to Make Rocks Great Again!

Oxford United v Blackburn Rovers, Tue 21/11 2017

Post by Thorisgodpoo » Tue Nov 21, 2017 12:08 am

Another win goes without saying. Important match none the less, playing against the club a position below, really need to extend the table.

Hopefully Nuttall gets another chance up top, same formation and plan. I feel like Downing is finding some consistency and deserves another start.

That sounds like bad science. I am not aware of any consensus amongst researchers that prove that.

I will of course be consulting a local religious fundamentalist on all matters regarding geology from now on.

First time I'm seeing Rovers this season and it's been a long time coming given that it's late November. Looking forward to it especially seeing Dack and Smallwood play.

What you don't know is that Jon has long been a member of the Flat Face Society of Great Britain. He thinks that his face has no curvature and all the pictures of him from the side are part of a conspiracy by balaclava manufacturers.

Note: The baklava manufacturers are also involved somehow. You'd have to ask him for details.

Should we be bothered about a team that scored four on Saturday away at Plymouth. Dig deeper and you will find they were playing ten men for much of that game and previous to that had lost their previous three games albeit one of them in the Mickey mouse Checkatrade trophy. Rovers on the other hand haven't lost a meaningful game in ages. Are we due to lose or just playing well. Oxford are a bit like us having done well against the more successful team in the league but slipped up against weaker teams including defeats to both Blackpool and Bury. Lets hope they dont like playing Lancashire teams. I still dont like the fact there is no Harry Chapman in the team. I like the fact Joe Nuttall is pushing for a place. Conway maybe feature in this game but it would not be fair to change a winning team so as you were against Bury for this game should provided Rovers with a good chance of a favourable result. I might be tempted though to start Graham ahead of Nuttall as Nuttall maybe more of a threat in the latter stages of the game.

Rovers' form against better clubs has been fairly good. Its the crappy teams that have worked us over. I expect a good showing today.

Kassan is one of the few grounds this Texan has seen, when I went to visit my eldest daughter at Oxford. I think at that time, they were playing non-league football? (2009)
While in London, I passed by Craven Cottage & Loftus Road.

I need to make another trip!

Rovers up 1-0 now, Mulgrew with the goal off the corner.
