Plymouth Argyle v Blackburn, Sat 3 Feb 2018, KO 15:00
Hopefully we see Armstrong and Payne get another run out. I would hope that Evans doesn't even make the bench over Travis, but we will see.

Going to be a tough game, they've only lost once in the league since the end of November and that was to Wigan.
I suspect Wigan will win at home to Gillingham but Shrewsbury have a tough trip to Bristol Rovers, I know it's now February but I still expect them to fade to some degree, when you look at their results generally in the league they so often have won games with tight single goal margins and a few late winners. On the whole I feel like we're getting stronger as the season goes on and are more convincing in victory than they are.

Tony Mowbray described his game plan against Walsall as gung ho. He said Rovers took a chance and went for it. For the Plymouth game he feels the opposition would pose more of a threat and will alter his tattics accordingly. What is wrong to playing to your strengths. Mowbray announced his intentions in the transfer window by signing Armstrong, Payne and forward thinking defender Amari'i Bell. I do understand that if the opposition score first and park the bus it is very difficult to get a result. I do hope though he is not tempted to drop any of the starting line up in favour of say a more defensive midfield or maybe he might not commit so many players forward. The starting line up against Walsall deserves to start against Plymouth and going off what Armstrong contributed towards goal attempts in the Walsall game it will not belong before he scores. So what if Plymouth have only been beaten by Wigan lately. There are three stand out clubs in league One this season and Rovers are one of them. We should not be cautious towards Plymouth.

Rovers always seem to be more effective when attacking. Defensive set ups, parking the bus etc never seem to work for us. Frankly I'd forget about Evans and Whittingham and bet more adventurous. Bennett is one of our unsung heroes and his defensive work is good The back four are solid and we can afford to go on the attack away from home.

I don't see any issue with approaching this game with a little more caution. Plymouth are one of the form side and we're away from home. I also wouldn't overlook how defensively less solid we are without Mulgrew. When we haven't had a first choice pairing of Downing and Mulgrew it's a little more shaky and I'm not sure on the stats but I wouldn't be surprised if we've won less often and concended more.
We've got some much attacking threat that we'll cause any team problems in this division.

Conway back in for Payne. Strong line up.

Good squad, be interesting to see how Bell and Conway link up.
Could well be a statement game this one, Plymouth are in good form and going well, this could be a massive win if we can pull it off!
C’mon the Rovers!

Really in the thick of it now, losing 0-2. They also say 2 goal leads are the hardest to defend.

Need to sneak a goal before half time. Must be missing Mulgrew.
