Lambert when signing: I don't need to spend anything on this squad to succeed - that would be an excuse
Lambert gets a good chunk of money and uses it
Lambert when leaving: I didn't get enough money to spend and they aren't going to give me as much as I want to spend in the future

Arse.

I’m not saying he is not useless but you can’t have a go at him for selling Rhodes. Yet have no issue with the managers that sold Rudy, lost King (due to not playing him enough). All players that would have been able to help us in the championship. My point is that managers had to sell players. I never had a go at Bowyer for Rudy or King. Never had a go at Lambert for selling Rhodes. They had to do what they had to do. I very much doubt Lambert had much money to spend. He just said shit for the sake of saying something.

I have no issue with both managers. They did what they had to do. You just seem to have a issue with Lambert and try to pin everything onto him.

You can have a go at him for selling Rhodes. Venkys had made it abuntently clear they did not want to sell, that only changed when Lambert showed up and started berating his best player publically. Lambert's choice entirely.

What did the start and finish of that post say? I don’t trust your copy and paste. Seeing as you are very sneaky with your wording.

That’s not my ambition. My ambition is for us to get back to championship with TM. In order for TM to get us there he has to try and undue most of the wrongs that got us to league one. Currently doing a grand job which is why i’m Happy.

I can’t be the only happy Rover fan at the moment. I like to think MrB is on his own with not being happy at the moment.

I’ll ask you again MrB.

Why is it good management by Bowyer to sell Rudy (32 goals in 60 games), Cairney (valued at 30m by Fulham) and lose King but it’s a massive issue to sell Rhodes. Makes no sense to me!!!!!!! Your hatred of lambert is stopping you from making any sense.

You would have had no issue if Bowyer had sold Rhodes seeing as I don’t hear you kicking off about Rudy, King & Cairney!!!!!

Ps I remember you saying sacking BFS was a great idea and getting relegated would only benefit us. We could rebuild. Worked well that one

In fact fuck it MrB stay unhappy. Get yourself checked out though it’s not right. Anyone happy with being top of league 1 lacks ambition and shouldn’t be happy. We should all be happy with that given our recent past.

Onwards and upwards and :D will be my response from now on. Not going to let you spoil this with your negativity.

I don't particularly care what league we're in, I'm enjoying watching the games and being a fan again, and that's what the game is all about. Yes, relegation was disappointing (all three times while I've been a fan). Yes, watching Venky's destroy the club and make obvious poor decisions was horrendous. My general feeling is that after years of free-fall we've hit a low point and are bouncing back up with a good squad, a good manager, and good youth prospects. They're playing well together as an entire team rather than relying on one of two individuals to carry the rest, and the vibes coming from the players, club, and fans are positive. Onwards and upwards.
