I know the best polls, let me tell you. They are the best polls. Believe it or not, they are about Blackburn. They are coming in with their best polls, all from Blackburn. And sometimes they aren't sending their best polls. Some of those polls are bad hombres. But when they are the best, you know those polls are coming from Blackburn. That is why I am making an executive order to build a polling center, all across the border of Blackburn, and show their best polls, to Make Blackburn Great Again!

Rovers have said they'll look to cover the travel costs for the away coaches for the rearranged fixture which is good.
Confirmed now
Supporters should note that all tickets for the match can either be refunded in full or reused on the new date.
Those who travelled on our official transport will be entitled to free return coach travel for the re-arranged fixture.
As a gesture of goodwill, the club has also agreed to cover the cost of coach travel for independent supporter clubs who operated a coach to the original fixture and whose members are travelling to the re-arranged fixture, in receipt of an official invoice from the coach operator.
Unfortunately, the club is unable to extend this offer to personal travel. However, all supporters in receipt of a match ticket for the original game are welcome to book a place on our official travel free of charge for the re-arranged date.

It's about as much as they could do really. I actually couldn't make the original fixture but can get to the rescheduled game so got my ticket yesterday :hyper:

Walsall soundly beaten by Wigan 0-3. It will be hard to predict results in the run up to the end of the season. If you look at each of Rovers, Shrewsbury and Wigan's remaining games i dont think i would like any of them. Rovers have some tricky away games. Shrewsbury have a Wembley final to play in the checkatrade Trophy. Wigan look to be in a good position but they have to play five games against clubs in and around the relegation places. Some of them against local clubs namely Bury, Rochdale and Oldham.
It's going to be close and given that Shrewsbury haven't dropped off as people expected it may well go right to the last couple of games.

I work with a Wigan fan who wasn't surprised by last night, since they drew Man City in the cup it has been a definite distraction and they slipped up a few times in the league but he thinks now that they're out and solely focused back on the league it'll be them back to their best in the league.

It's going to be another nail biting end to the season, could even go to the last match of the play offs. Doing my nerves no good at all.

I think this is as good as we could have hoped for. Rovers have a decent shot at automatic promotion; and a great shot at promotion via playoffs.

Looking back with regret at those first two games of the season...

Our chances of automatic promotion are probably better than doing it through the playoffs. The sudden death nature of the playoffs means that league form is largely irrelevant. At least we're at the right end of the table for a change... :D

We’ve done pretty well considering we were in the bottom three after 7 or 8 games. Great run of form.

I agree, reminiscent of our last promotion from the Championship to the Premier League with Souness taking us from in and around the relegation places to finish second come the seasons end. Great times, Duff, Dunn, Jansen... We've had some genuinely good and gifted players down the years, many products of our awesome Academy. Something the dingles are never likely to ever come close to replicating :D

It's galling in some respects that last season to be relegated from the Chanpionship on goal difference with over 50 points, as poor as we were over the whole season, is unlucky and something of an outlier.

Then as good as this season has been it's going to some kind of record in terms of points total for the top 3. Whoever does miss out will feel very hard done by considering the final points total would probably see you in the top 2 in any other season.

Shrews have been getting some red card trouble. Hopefully it will affect them in the next match. Wigan however are doing a great job. We have a game in hand on Shrews, so we have that. Wigan, however, look strong to keep the wins flowing.

As long as we match Wigan win for win, I think it's safe to say we will get promoted.

Meh... Worth remembering it wasn't too long ago we were thinking that the playoffs were a realistic goal... Now they would be a disappointment.
