Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00
Southend had a bounce when Powell came in back in January but seems to be a bit hit or miss in recent results.

Even the star player needs a match rest.

Last Saturday 3pm kick off of the season! I wonder who we'll be playing next time?

So this is Preston's other team, right?

Rovers win this one and the Gillingham game next week and we can starting thinking about the championship next season. With a seven point advantage and far superior goal difference it will take a huge effort from Shrewsbury to catch us.

In the LT it's the first time Mowbray has started to deviate from his usual narrative of we only worry about ourselves and take each game as it comes. He's emphasised the importance of this weekend and refers to applying pressure on Shrewsbury and Wigan.
You can't say with any certainty what pressure it applies to teams but I guess it didn't go unnoticed that we beat Bradford and then Shrewsbury slip up at Rochdale who are scrapping down at the bottom, equally both us and Shrewsbury win and then Wigan lose that evening at Pompey, which granted is one of the more difficult games.
I do think if we can beat Southend and then Gillingham on Tuesday there will be a lot of pressure on Shrewsbury to win at Bradford, I think Mowbray knows that it could lead to a pivotal moment in the promotion race if we get the points on the board.

Smart to use the press to get to the other teams around us. It would be great to go out with a continued winning streak, so I can only hope for that. Otherwise, put the team in a comfortable situation and then start playing some reserves to see how they run out against league 1. I can imagine these remaining matches will be scrutinized for talent.

Really looking forward to this one, I'm going for 2 nil Rovers.
Off topic, do any of you guys know a site where we can view a teams league position throughout the season in a lune graph? Just to try and be a little clearer, like with old championship manager where you could press the league position and it would show a line tracking the teams position as it moved up and down positions in the league. I want to see the line go from near the bottom at the start of the season to now where we chop and change in the 1st to 3rd range. I've searched for ages online but can't find a site that does this. Thanks guys.

I wonder if they'll still water the pitch at half time?
Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00
Dack off with a knock, Payne on, and Wigan 1-0 up.

Graham!
Very scrappy match, but finally a breakthrough for Rovers.
Wigan 3-1 up now, probably safe to assume they've got the three points.
