Back to regular time, and now we see what changes Mowbray is going to make to the squad to keep out those that have been battling with injuries.

The next 2 games I would like to see Payne start as not seen much from him in a rovers shirt yet. Also like to see a youth player start and 1 or 2 on the bench like Nuttall, Travis etc. Tough game so would be good to test them. Opposition will be tougher than Charlton next season so let’s test them.

As much as I'd like to see Bell given a couple of starts as well as Payne as well as Travis in for Evans, I suspect Mowbray will want to retain the unity of the current starters and give them the chance to win the league and keep the unbeaten run going.

I'd expect to see the same XI as Tuesday aside from Antonsson possibly getting the nod ahead of Conway.

Okay scrap the above just read Mowbray's comments about the team for tomorrow. Some of the players have been carrying knocks during the promotion chase that will be rested.

Both
Mulgrew and Raya were struggling at the end of the Donny match - they may both get a rest, especially as Mulgrew will want to play next Saturday.

Ok so now the fringe players have 2 games to get noticed for next season. Looks like 3 at the back with caddis and Bell as full backs? Looking fwd to seeing what the kids on the bench can do as well. Mainly looking for Payne to shine from the start.

So, both Rovers and Wigan 1-0 at half time. Hopefully that's not gone unnoticed in the changing rooms at half time, still all to play for in the title race.

Trust us to put out a weaker squad, play well but go behind to a crazy deflection the same day Wigan (so far) are losing.

If Wigan do lose and we can’t win, those lads are gonna be kicking themselves!

Would be lovely to pull something out here in the last 20 minutes. Wigan losing right now.
