I have many beats. My beats are the best beats. They beat any other beat that beats. They are beats, that beat. Big beats. Ocean beats. And let me tell you, they go on. These beats go on, and on. Nobody has ever stopped my beats, they kept beating. So when I say I have the best beats, I mean it. They are the best beats. That is why I am issuing an executive order to fulfill my promise of the beat going on, and to Make Beats Great Again!

He also likes players who can play in multiple positions.i wouldn’t be surprised if TM is trying to sign a striker with experience and also go for Armstrong on loan. With Armstrong operating as a winger and cover for the forwards. Then loan Nuttall out to get experience.

Ipswich will always remain a mystery team to play. So I am going for a 2-2 draw, but a win would be spectacular to start with.

Line is expected to be along the lines of:

-----------------Raya
Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams
---------Smallwood Evans
Bennett-------Dack---------Samuel
---------------Graham

I do expect us to have at least 2 more players come in and there are rumours circling on Twitter that we will sign Armstrong and a winger that isn't Chapman, although that could clearly be a load of nonsense. Possibly another defender too.

We've got a good team and a solid midfield and defence, so I don't think we should fear anyone in this league and Mowbray has echoed that in the LT. Keep the team spirit, work ethic and momentum of winning games going and we'll see what happens. Hopefully we can sneak something tomorrow.

Newcastle have just signed a Japanese centre forward from Mainz - Muto. This may be the trigger for them to release Armstrong.

I see your expected team for tomorrow but don't recognise many players. May be stating something obvious from someone who doesn't watch Rovers on any consistent basis but you'll probably have some new additions for the new season on top of already existing players.

Hasn't the transfer deadline passed now for this occasion ? I don't keep up with all that much now, all rumours and speculation, although we ourselves have brought in a few names : mainly obscure players from lower league that it's hard to get excited about. Maybe they'll turn out to be good additions but the primary focus now is moving on from the mess / non-progress McCarthy left behind and rebuilding under a new name.

Mowbray is assured of a warm welcome tomorrow, he was a good servant for us, well respected. Obviously hope to take all three points from him and your team, after all this is a results business. Little room for hearts and flowers in the supply and demand of this industry.

Really?

The last time we played at Portman Road in January 2017 Lenihan, Mulgrew, Williams, Bennett and Graham all started the match with Raya and Nyambe on the bench

Smallwood played against Ipswich for Rotherham in the Championship in the same season and Cory Evans has been with us for 5 seasons so will have played against Ipswich a few times also.

Appreciate Samuel will be an unknown likewise Dack at this level but he was League One Player of the Season and has had a decent bit of press.

I am really anticipating this season opener... despite what the stats say about Rovers at Portman Road, or Rovers’ 6 season openers since being relegated from PL.

14 hours from kickoff. Grilling steaks for my old college roomie. Really looking forward to Rovers’ visiting the Tractor Boys!

The worst is, waking up 2 hours before the match and not having any creamer for your coffee...

Catastrophic. Gotta have my half & half. I went to the store last night to make sure that wouldn’t happen.

If it were up to me it would have happened last night as well. But I just had to pop around the corner to get some. Half and half is pretty much the only way to go.

Did you sign up for iFollow this season to watch the matches? Or are you playing the Sky Sports text ticker game again?

Would prefer Conway over Samuel, but at this point it's the first match of the season.

Yeah, I still just follow the ticker. Then watch the highlights afterwards

I am thinking next year in retirement I might have to spend some money, & do it right.
