Carlisle are not the greatest opposition and look set to be struggling near the bottom of League 2 this season but we looked really potent in the highlights, some very good goals.
It was most pleasing to see Arma latching on to through balls from Dack, especially his second, as that's a key dimension to our attack we wouldn't necessarily have with Graham as his strengths aren't really about playing playing on the shoulder and running in behind. A quick player may have made more of his chances against Millwall.
In the league I think we'll be okay defensively as certainly our first choice is really solid and we've got good options in central midfield, at the start of the season it was goals that felt like more of a worry with a lot resting on Graham and hoping Dack does well at this level and Samuel finding some form.
There's potentially 3 loans coming in according to the LT today but you'd like to think Graham, Arma and Dack will be wanting to all get in to double figures, then you've got potential goals in Palmer and Samuel as well as players like Conway, Nuttall, Rothwell, Gladwin etc.

Rovers host Lincoln City in the next round. We haven't played Lincoln in ages!

I hope Wharton is eligible to play so we can get a good look at him in a competetive situation. Pleased with this, I like Lincoln.

Our defence will have some fun with Matt Reid and his elbows.
Some nice comments from Danny Cowley in the LT regarding Wharton, I also hadn't realised we've let Lincoln use our training facilities a few times when they're playing teams away from home in the area.
