I have been quite optimistic this season, but with 4 forwards injured, I think we will lose sadly. They need to sort the defence out following last night, we looked all over the place!

Kiln stealing the show in the poll, lovely addition.

Good news that Maupay is out, Brentford have looked shit hot this season and will prove our toughest test yet I think. We'll have to be a lot better than we were last night but hopefully Palmer and Dack will be back along with Armstrong.

Usually I’m very optimistic but worried about this game as I think we might struggle. Dack and Armstrong will be a big miss too. Guessing Mowbray will go with something like:

Raya
Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell
Smallwood Evans
Bennett Rothwell Palmer
Graham

Smart move to leave Dack out this match. Brentford are playing very physical and pressing match, something where recovering from an injury would hamper.

First half has been dull, nothing to talk about. Nuttall doesn't chase the ball much, really waits for it to come to him. Other than that, no one to complain about much besides Bell. Couple of delayed decisions may have hampered an attack or 2.

Great result considering their form and who we’re missing. :hyper:

That’s a very impressive result.

Was wanting 4 points from these 2 home games, it’s happened the other way around but very pleasing. Especially with 2 of our best players out.

Solid win! Blackburn making it a solid 1-0 win without both top creative presences Dack and Armstrong. This win will help carry a lot of confidence into the next week.

Glad Travis got the nod over Rodwell in the bench. Not there should have been any cause for concern. Bennett, Rothwell, Nyambe are serious work horses for this squad. Having those 3 on really stretches the pitch for Rovers.

Evans had a solid game, Smallwood slightly behind in that department but not by much. Defensively was solid. Bell is the only one that causes worry with his ability to look like nothing to worry about it.

I just wish Mowbray could find a winger to bring in that is a workhorse like Conway or Bennett, just runs for days. Other than that, if they bring in a striker with a winger, I think Rovers are solidly in place to go forward until January

Nuttall being the only negative in my assessment. Not sure what is in his boots, but he didn't move much at all. Kind of looked lost the whole match. If Rovers have to depend on him, we are in trouble.
