Probably no Dack or Armstrong in this match. Won't see Roswell. Might see Reed in this match along with some other fringe players.

Even if they’re fit I’d rest them still. We’ve got tough fixtures across September.

Yeah, I almost hate to play a Cup match right now; not that they fall on convenient times, anyway

I think it's pretty convenient timing. We can play Downing, get Reed a match, some other fringe players a match. Honestly wouldn't be bad to see Hart and Caddis get a run out. If we win, cool. If we lose, cool.

Does sound like Mowbray is going to bring in some changes for tonight given the effort on Saturday. But we do have an extra day before Bristol City on Sunday then an international break. Dack is ready but may not be risked and I think Evans and Bennett will definitely be rested.

No point in risking Dack before the break, same with Armstrong. Best to see what the second team has to offer.

Big changes made for this match.

Raya
Nyambe-Downing-Grayson-Caddis-Bell
Conway-Travis-Rothwell
Nuttall-Graham

Tomlinson and Butterworth both made the bench. Really pushing out a U23 lineup. Good stuff.

Conway is still one of the best “assisters” around

Lincoln have been very complementory about Rovers before the game. A bit of a clubmance if that exists. Lincoln would be well advised to look into taking Joe Nuttall on loan.

Amongst other Cup matches, Wimbledon, 1; WH, 0 (HT)

Hammah’s are a bad team right now; managerial change hasn’t helped them thus far.
