Derby County v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 18 Sept 2018, KO 19:45

With Derby being a spotty team this season, this is a good chance to get back to winning ways.

Mmmm, coffee. Why wouldn't you want to sit around in an empty cafe with a good coffee in the early hours talking shit with old men?

Isn't the coffee at McDonald's hotter than the sun though?

Nobody would go to McDonalds for coffee given a choice. A huddle around the Costa machine in the local garage would be nicer.

Just realised, that should read "Nobody would go to McDonalds given a choice".

I imagine McDonalds at 5am is a strange mix of early risers and drunken students on their way home, depending on the location.

If you are where I am, its all old men and newspapers. It gets pretty lively.

First live game for me this season as I had to miss the Ipswich game. Looking forward to seeing the at this level again.

Derby have been curious under Lampard, won 3 on the bounce in the league before losing to Rotherham although they were down to 10 men. A bit like the Brentford game we're fortunate in that he'll miss the game tonight and has been one of their best players along with Mount. Also avoids the inevitable ex-player scoring against us.

Hopeful we can get something from the game.

Wouldn't surprise me if Mowbray chooses to go with Armstrong or Brereton up top in place of Graham. Would be an interesting scenario to see 2 up top possibly.

Mulgrew out due to illness and DG starts from the bench. Williams in for Mulgrew and Craig Conway comes into the team and captains the team.

Will be interesting what Mowbray does with the subs in the second half. Really have choices all over, Reed, Rothwell, Brereton, Graham, and Bennett to choose from realistically. I imagine Brereton will be coming on around the 55th-60th minute again.

Graham coming on really early, good call because Derby has been dominating. Craig Conway coming off
