Expecting a rather weak lineup. Probably see Rothwell and Reed start, Conway and Armstrong on the wings with Palmer and Brereton up top. Probably see Downing start as well.

Very good win. Stoke will probably say they were unlucky but when you are three down with twelve minutes to play you deserve to be beaten. Its difficult to see why Rovers neatly blew it. Stoke got one back and then some substitutions in quick succession might have disturbed the concentration. Then at 2-3 you are going to expect everything to be thrown at you. What with late goals conceeded against Ipswich and Villa its good to see something go Rovers way at the end of the game. Listening to BBC radio Stoke after the game i am sure soneone said Berahino had missed his last five penalties. At which point does someone tell him he isnt taking anymore.

We’re away at a relegated Prem side as a newly promoted side. When you score 3 goals of the quality we did and deserved a 4th I think you’re good value for the win.

It’s no secret that we can get the jitters seeing a game out when we’re winning. Not always, but we saw this one through and deserved after Ipswich and Villa.

5 points from Villa, Derby and Stoke is very impressive and could have been 7.

Watching that unfold on Twitter was hard going. So glad we held on but why must they do this to us. My nerves were shot

Rich Sharpe seems to be a cut above the average LET Rovers reporter. very impressed with his coverage so far.

Yeah he's been good, generally the social media from the club account and Rich Sharpe has vastly improved since last season.

Listening to Radio Lancs on Saturday, my heart rate has only just returned to normal. Rovers NEVER do anything easy. When Lenihan gave away the penalty my wife rushed upstairs and demanded to know what I was shouting about.
All's well that ends well I suppose.
