Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield United, Wed 3 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Discuss all things Rovers related except...

Why are we playing Sheffield United and not Wednesday on a Wednesday?

The winds of truth have blown our sails in the direction to be United on a Wednesday

Was fairly convinced we’d struggle tonight and so it proved. No dramas just beaten but a very well coached side.

That's pretty much it. Got shut out at home by a much superior side. I think the honeymoon phase of the Championship is now over with this loss.

Honestly not sure what it was, Graham and Dack were just off their game, no spark or creativity. It's really bad when Bell looks like the best player out there.

Can't wait for the weekend to see how Rovers bounce back from this loss.

13 goals in 11 league games. I didn’t think we would have this much trouble scoring.

I wouldn’t want to lay blame at our players. Sheff Utd play a very specific system and are well drilled. We just weren’t up to it. Couple of moments could have gone our way but we deserved to lose.

For me the only frustration is the dropped points from our draws. I’ve got now issue with us coming up a division and being dominated by superior sides when we face them.

Very impressed with Sheff U. No shame in losing to a team that has just gone top of the league.

Hoping for a positive reaction against Bolton on Saturday. I really hope Rothwell starts. Whenever he receives the ball he always tries to make something happen.

Sheffield United won the league one championship the season before last and made an impressive start in the championship last year. That is something we would have liked to see Rovers emulate but we are not that far off.
