I’m impressed. Great win. With the promotion last season and how we’ve gone about this season I’m very taken by this Rovers side. An extremely likeable and hard working working side.

Roll on Tuesday.

So bizarrely the Chinese super league game is on live tomorrow lunchtime whilst our game is a red-button affair. Scratching my head at that one tbh :?
Why? Stupid money in the Chinese league and money is all that tv sport is about.
Surely the championship audience in the UK is bigger though.
This. Not all about TV dollars, it’s about whose actually gonna be watching.

I’d rather watch the MLS or my Nan get undressed than the Chinese super league in all fairness.
You tell that to the Murdochs Disney.... ;)

Not really sunk in yet that we’re in the play offs, even if it’s just for a few hours :hyper: brillaint stuff from Mowbray

Absolutely, I'm thrilled at the result.
I didn't expect us in a playoff spot at any time this year, quite honestly

Best game of the season from a spectator's point of view, two good attacking sides.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind that Rovers will be up there challenging at the end of the season.
Are Nuttall and Samuel injured? When Danny came off in the second half Dack was asked to play on his own up front. He looked out of position and imo was a waste of his considerable talent. We badly need cover at cf - if Graham suffers a serious injury we will be in the you know what.
Finally, what would we give for the level of support that Leeds enjoy?

Samuel is out; don't think he'll be back anytime soon

A good friend of mine who is a Nottingham Forest fan said to me “Why were you using Brereton on the wing? He’s shit on the wing”

I personally thought given his size and talent he’d be an able replacement for Danny Graham, but alas Mowbray doesn’t see that. He banged in most of his goals as a striker for Forest though.

Point of this post is kinda why, when they have a striker on the pitch, did they put a absolutely shattered looking Dack up front against two big, strong, quick centre backs instead of Brereton whose favoured position is upfront and he’s physically taller and stronger than Dack? And even if they didn’t want to use Brereton that way, don’t hoof the ball up to Dack. Get it to his damn feet!

We invited far too much pressure on ourselves that last 10-25 minutes just because we hoofed the ball up and nobody could get on the end or reach the knock on. Leeds then played the same long pass over and over again to the winger from deep.

Still some possession issues to deal with to close out games but a good, battling performance regardless. I’m a very happy Jim. Office bragging rights are now mine! 😂

But wasnt it great to see the Darwen end full?
Agree with all the comments re Dack/Brereton. Even in his post match interview Mowbray admitted that Brereton scored more goals in training than anyone else.
Mowbray will get it right, I also believe he may well get us promoted.
