Much better and Travis MotM.

We’ve shot ourselves in the foot enough through a horribly tough cluster of fixtures so deserved that even though we still had some hairy moments.

Slightly telling subs by Mowbray. Don’t think he’s always got them right. But Conway and Brereton for Dack and Armstrong makes a lot more sense when trying to see a game out and have targets to aim at upfield.

Other big thing from today, sending Travis out on loan would be silly. Deserves to keep his place.

What a way to start the new year, brilliant 3 points and well earned in my opinion. When 6 mins of injury time went up I nearly needed a change of underwear but we managed to see it out.

Lewis Travis was outstanding and hopefully that will be the end of this sending out on loan nonsense. A fantastically composed performance from a 20 year old playing against some hugely experienced ex Premiership/international players.

Gaz I wasn’t there but heard Dack looked annoyed to come off which is fine he’ll obviously want to always play. But assuming Conway and then Brereton helped in regards to staying resolute and defending as a team?

Mowbray pretty much said as much, and I'm glad if Dack looked annoyed. If he was happy to come off I'd be getting worried..!

Yeah I saw that after I posted. And also never know why some fans get funny about a sub being annoyed about having to come off. Like it somehow means something because it was Dack and we’re in a transfer window.

Better game management from Mowbray today which is good to see.

Now if we could get another young enthusiastic midfielder in place of Evans, we'd really be on the up and up

Aye, not best pleased, but that’s what you want from players! They were all hugs come final whistle :D

I really like that lad - must keep him when his loan period ends

There'll be repurcussions later, I'm sure.

I think we should try no poll against Newcastle, ideal testing ground as it's a cup game.

Or do a poll about polls.
