Yeah, wish I could see this. I used to get some of these FA Cup matches on FS1, don’t know why they stopped

If you have ESPN+, it's on there. Future reference, if you know a Rovers match will be televised, sign up for the free trial and cancel afterwards.

Probably safe to say Graham won’t be starting the next game. If Reed didn’t get injured Graham would have come off. Forced TM to replace Reed with Dack.

3 terrible goals to concede. One was offside but still poor keeping from Raya. Really hope Newcastle get relegated.

If anything, we have given Newcastle a headache on pushing towards promotion. Lascelles came off injured and pushed some of their first teamers 120 minutes. Overall, I am disappointed but not totally. Started with one real centreback so no surprise that Newcastle got 4 goals. It would have been nice to go further in the FA Cup and play Watford, but they are a really tough side this season.

I just hope that come Ipswich this weekend, we have a good side to field and can play full strength.

Joke that the goal stood

Travis gives the ball away too much, seems to always get it trapped under his feet. Rothwell’s looked tidy though.

One positive is that unlike Newcastle, 3 of our first teamers didn’t get injured.

Bit of a pisser in the way the game panned out. We did so well getting things back to 2-2 and game hinges on Dack’s uncharacteristic miss and a clear offside goal.

I really don’t get why we had VAR in the first game then not in the replay as it’s disadvantaged us. They clearly reviewed the penalty at St James’ as the ref paused and was listening to confirmation. But then no opportunity for Joselu’s goal to be reviewed.

Ultimately I’m not too bothered and they’ve now had to play extra time, picked up key injuries and hopefully get relegated.

Most important thing for us is being in good shape to beat Ipswich on Saturday.

Fully agree Mcteeth. Hopefully that miss will fire Dack up for Saturday!

Baffled how a player who never got back onside from being miles offside can be missed by the linesman. Leaves a bad taste that such an easy decision had such a pivotal effect on the result. However, the goals we conceded were poor from a defensive point of view. Part of me thinks missed opportunity, part of me thinks we'd have been better off throwing the game away at their place.

Can't stand them, just makes is worse they have the media darling Rafa in charge. They can count themselves very lucky to have eeked past a Championship club.

A bit hard that, Mcteeth. Bearing in mind that it was an evening match, that Newcastle have been playing abysmally, and that Rafa selected a weak team, I hold my hat off to the the Newcastle supporters who turned up in their droves. I like teams that bring major support to Ewood - Newcastle, Leeds, Maiddlesbrough and of course the Mancs and Liverpool sides. Puts the likes of Preston, Wigan and Bolton to shame. Supporters like that deserve a decent team.
I doubt if the Ipswich supporters on Saturday would fill a telephone box.
After last night I would imagine the Brereton 'fans' have run out of patience, he was dire, and deserved his substitution.
Incidentally, if Smallwood had not been suspended, would Travis now be out on loan? This begs the question, why is Mowbray so reluctant to give our much vaunted youngsters a chance? Other managers seem happy to give talented 16/17/18 year olds their chance but Mowbray insists on sending them out on loan and keeping them on the bench for yonks before introducing them.
