I think hes saying that because man utd once played in the second division the fact that they are the most successful side in the history of the premierships is meaningless because anything can happen.

11 vs 11 at the end of the day... even if its 11 limbless girls against a world 11 on nandrolone.

Should have applied a theadore filter sooner. Would have saved LOADS of confusion.

Nah, just a lack of correct punctuation. ;)

Anyone any idea what he's babbling about? :xxx:
Yes, he's saying that everyone has the 'potential' to tumble off Scafell into the depths of Mickledore. Though most will not realise that potential as they will not climb Scafell, nor stray too close to the edge of Broad Crag.

Yea man u r the most sucessfull in the prem with the dosh, but remember liverpool was more sucessfull without the dosh in the 80s, when champions where champions, liverpool ruled england and europe for better than the scum, did rosenberg with part time workers knock us out of europe, 11 v 11 footballs a funny old game.

We drew... this is devistating for your flimsy argument based on all teh historical data available.... i worship the great god chaos. If you want proof, how about the fact that in our last 2 games playing different sides against completely different teams we came out with a different score? Please go away with your statistics as clearly the only way to win football matches is to shout loudly for 90 minutes.

Manchester United are successful and rich, Liverpool were successful and not so rich and they did better in a generation completely removed from this one, one where Jan Molby was considered a top drawer footballer despite not being able to break out of a waddle. My misguided memory has lumped the most successful Norwegian team ever in with their rhyming contempoaries Trelleborgs who beat Rovers once, further proving that the relative quality and past history of two teams has no bearing on the end result.

Talking of lies did anyone read the recent interview with John Williams where he tried to claim that Rovers had invested in the playing staff in the previous two seasons to prevent being stung by the transfer price hike that will come from the new TV deal. Well the investment we have made puts us 18th of the 20 clubs and if it continues in that vein with the £50m TV deal money being frittered away on the non-playing side of things we will most likely not be a prem club come 2018

Looking through the smokescreen and the spin John Williams has put upon the question of what happened to the missing £50m TV payout it's looking increasingly likely that without a new owner and new investment our club will most likely not be a premiership outfit in 10 years time.

When the gross transfer spending of all premiership clubs for the last 2 years is analysed (18th of 20) it shows that the manager is doing a great job just to keep us up in 9th place. But as the club seems to be losing money hand over fist, case in point the hemorrhaging of the first £50m TV payout, it's a situation that cannot continue.

At the current spending rate a rosy future is not on the horizon. The club needs to up it's annual investment by at least £10m-£20m just to stay in contention for scraping into the inter-toto

Man Utd £35.6m (Tevez not included)
Arsenal £29.9m
Chelsea £47.5m
Liverpool £67.3m
Everton £26.25m
Portsmouth £43.7m
Villa £33.4m
Man City £34.47
Rovers £15m
West Ham £50.57
Tottenham £63.9
Wigan £27.4m
Boro £38.2m
Reading £9.67m
Newcastle £38.45
Sunderland £40.3m this season alone
Birmingham £10.25m this season alone
Bolton £21.65
Fulham £26.37m
Derby £9.8m this season alone

Where did you get the £50m figure from?

The new TV deal that was signed meant that all clubs would get £50m a year minimum from TV
