Rovers v Manure 19th Apr 2008 17.15

Post by Ethiaa » Thu Apr 17, 2008 3:41 pm

Amazing what you can find on the web...
Gary Neville could make a comeback into the team after a long spell on the sidelines performing fellatio while Michael Carrick will be itching
In a rare moment of clarity (sobriety)...
Sir Alex Ferguson insists Manchester United's Premier League title defence could yet unravel
And in a typically down to earth fashion at Ewood...
Lancashire Constabulary's Road Policing Unit will be implementing specific access routes to car parks around Ewood Park
Exciting eh. I think we'll prolly lose it 0-1 but who can say.

Gary Neville taking a shot in the mouth. What a surprise....not. :vomit:

When I read, "we'll prolly lose 0-1 but you never know", I just pictured the result to be exactly that. If I was a betting man (and a twat who bets against his own team), then I'd bet a decent sum on that being the outcome. I can see us fighting them and giving them a really good game, as usual, but I can't see us winning.

I'd bet he wouldn't do that afterwards. Not the type imho - committed to seeing it through and keeping it down.

Nah, he may be committed but he has to swallow his pride at some point. Or someone else's.

The dirty, dirty bugger. "Keeping it down"...goodness, gracious me. :vomit:

Time for a glass of water.

I'm sure all Manure fans would prefer to watch him playing with balls on the deck rather than in the air. He was never very good at getting it up anyway I've been told.

I used to think that. But I look at it in a different way now. Last weekend he put a tenner on Liverpool beating us, with the reasoning "I'm prepared to pay a tenner for Rovers to beat Liverpool"

I don't think I could handle the thought of being happy that we'd lost, just for the sake of a few quid. If I'd won a few zeros on the end of my tenner then that would maybe soften the blow - a little.

It's a mug's game anyway. Seen too many people with the attitude, "I only have the odd flutter now and again", only to become full-time gamblers. Dangerous game.

It's 17.00 and Warwick Road (that's next to New Trafford - and Old Trafford of course - is devoid of Southerners). I love being at work on days like this. And it's cricket tomorrow too, wonderous.

"What a simple goal that was, Manchester United just didn't deal with it..."
"Gift goal but full marks to Blackburn"

I thought they'd coast to a win here, I really did, but they're struggling
I'm guessing he isn't talking about Blackburn

That's ANOTHER foul by Wes Brown on Pedersen - just in the second half... how has he not been yellow carded by now?
Ah well, a fair result I guess
Michael in London (a utd fan) is happy with the draw. So was Steve in Torquay (a utd fan).

Agreed - he should have sent Rooney and Brown off. Might have been the odd penalty shout too but what the hell, you suck.
