Out of interest, how much have you seen of Varney?

I've seen enough to say he's a workhorse to no effect.....

I wouldn't write him off just yet. Works hard, will help along youngsters and not throw a mardy when he's out of the team. Useful acquisition. Good player to have off the pitch and not bad backup on it.

Well he did ask to be left out of the Leeds team when we were after him in January.

He'd been out of the team for months, Rovers move done pending paperwork. Wanted to avoid injury hampering new start.

He was quizzed on it in the Yorkshire Post a week or so ago.

Seems fair.

I know he wasn't really rocking the boat. I just wanted to try and stir things up a bit. :D

My best friend is a Fleetwood fan and he's very happy to have him back on loan. He was also a fan of Edwards too.

Another League Two club... I'd have liked to see him at least have a season on loan in League One and move up a bit.

Never made the break through to the first team, be that from lack of opportunity or the managers didnt deem him good enough. Should we have kept him, just incase we do get relegated?
