How much are City willing to pay for Lescott?.....Warnock is a far better player so whatever Lescott is valued at then Warnock should be more.........PS Warnock for England!!!!!!

Indeed he's not. He is however at least as good as Glenn Johnson... all we need to do is hope that any prospective buyers have a 'rafa' moment. :hyper:

I personally think Warnock is overrated, he attacks too much and leaves poor Morten to cover for him :numpty; ,having our most attacking midfielder covering for him is pointless when Pedersen is twice the player Warnock dreams to be. He also goes to ground to much around and in the penalty area e.g; the first city goal. I hope he leaves

Yeah me too! And IT's a load of cock. There's no WAY that Nicky Shorey's better than Warnock. :-o

Nah, we have a good quality left back, who is also versitile, and who will give his all in every game we play. It wouldn't be worth getting rid for less than 10 mil. With cash quoted for others recently, 7mil is not enough... Not nearly enough...

Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I'm sure you could tell I was being approximate in my math :numpty; Either way it's still not enough cash to consider with the rates at which players are going for this year.

I'ts O.K fl_rover, just having a light moment between two Roverites, anyway it doesn't matter how much we sell him for, we'll never see the money anyway! Isn't that what usually happens when Rovers sell players, the cash seems to mysteriously disappear. Where's Paul Daniels, when you need him?

Oh absolutely brownie, no hard feelings. :) Didn't mean to come off too strong there... rough one at the office today so apologies a-plenty. You're right about not seeing the money, it would most likely offset the cost of something else.

The money from Santa was used to offset other costs to the club, so i can only imagine whatever is left from a future sale will go straight back into the transfer kitty
