Sounds highly rated that Davenport. Would be a solid addition to make competition for the youngsters if he is so highly rated.
Also around the mill, Frank Fielding is being linked back to us. Also, Forest midfielder Ben Osborn and MK Dons midfielder Ousseynou Cisse are said to be on Blackburn's radar.

Being linked to the Turkish Messi, Erhun Oztumer. He would be leaving Walsall on a free.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
How is anyone being compared to Messi leaving Walsall on a free?

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
It just means he is about 5'5" tall, nothing more.

Rovers would be ok with signing him under the FFP rules though...Five Foot Player....anyway in other news and in tribute to Scotland's 1978 world cup team the present day Scots couldnt do any better against Peru going down 2-0. Mr Mulgrew could have done better with both goals...it did look bloody hot and humid though.

We're apparently tracking Irish striker Graham Burke, who's toe stopped Lenihan getting a debut goal for Ireland

Being linked to pretty much anyone in League 1 or 2 who has scored a goal at this point. Don't know much about him, and that highlight really doesn't give him much of an impression. Plus he was just playing in the illustrious League of Ireland, which from any account who watches is is the "greatest league in the world."
Although it is nice to know Rovers have money to spend this summer, and they are looking for serious improvements.

That is NOT the right conclusion to draw from being linked with lots of random players

Yes, Fode Koita was a prime example of this. That whole season was spent being linked to random players for the reason that we couldn’t spend any money!Ethiaa wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:57 pmThorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:01 pmAlthough it is nice to know Rovers have money to spend this summer![]()

Aimless spending is the right type of spending, FACT.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
We've gone back in for Joe Rothewell from Oxford having looked at him in January.

Rumour Tony Mowbray wants Russian former Everton player Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. Thats one for the name on the back of the shirt.
