Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

For that price he really needs to go top of the massive list.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Seems horrifically expensive to me, but I guess it depends what the clauses are that make it eventually £7 million.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Yeah it does and would be interesting to know what the up front fee is and the clauses that make it rise to £7m, I'm guessing there will also be a sell-on percentage too.
It's a drop in the ocean for Venky's financially but that's largely irrelevant when it comes to Rovers and FFP.

Daily Fail strongly linking us with a move for Harry Chapman this week after been given the all clear to leave Boro on loan.
What a young, exciting team we’d have with Dack, Armstrong, Brereton and Chapman in attack. Not to mention Rothwell and Travis who have looked great in recent weeks!

I imagine these announcements will be tomorrow then. Seems a bit weird to wait this long after a medical. As for Chapman, if he can stay healthy then I am okay with it. He had developed well into a super sub later on last season, would imagine he would be splitting time with Palmer in that case.

More rumors of Cameron Jerome being linked to us. Wouldn't be bad to have him, he can do a job and is able to score goals relatively consistently.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
I think Chapman will come in today I think it’s just waiting on Boro bringing a target in.
I really hope we don’t send Travis out on loan.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
So who will pick up Whittingham's no.11 shirt?
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
I imagine it'll stay unused until next summer, when they'll be re-assigned or a new signing takes it.

May be a short stint with us...would be a shame not to get some compensation if we cant get him to agree to terms. Even if he fancies the Premiership, it'd be the right thing to do if he signed with us and allowed us to sell him on.

Mowbray dismisses possibility of Woodburn on loan. Smart move IMO, really need to see what we have in stock permanently rather than looking for loanees.
Mowbray has expressed that he would look forward to seeing another Graham-type of player come in though.
