Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Only the ones that can play at right back... and that we are buying to play at right back. Admittedly, that's all we seem to be looking at right now. Almost like we need a right back.

That's one way of looking at it. Another would be that we're looking at utility players who can have experience playing in several positions, so that we have cover for everywhere without needing a large squad.

Makes sense - bring in two right backs because we're going to play two right backs for the rest of the season.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
It would certainly be prudent to have more than one player who can play there yes

Just as it would be prudent to have players who can play in other positions too.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
We've got those already of course everywhere but right back. So it would be prudent to focus on the place we don't have them for

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Our league position would suggest we need more than just a right back or two...

A limited budget is a reason to bring in players who can play multiple positions rather than focus on signing two players to only play in one position...

As long as they can play at right back

If we have a REALLY GOOD goalkeeper-defender-midfielder-striker, then we don't have to worry about right back.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Why would we get them when we might be able to get someone else on loan though?

Twitter seems to think we're trialing a 25 year old Argentinian Attacking Midfielder called Lucas Mugni.
Just going from Youtube, he certainly seems to have an eye a killer pass.

If we're looking at his type though, it makes me wonder why we didn't play Byrne when we had him. :¬/

Maybe Byrne was shit in training?
Maybe we're not looking at Mugni (or Mungi), and twitter rumours are bollocks?
