Yet everyone keeps going on that they're glad we kept thr core of players....

Steele made plenty of his own mistakes, and didn't really counter with anything brilliant to pull us out the mire when the others did make mistake.
There was that one game against Newcastle at Ewood last season, but other than that nothing springs to mind.

I think you forget, or choose to ignore, how appalling the 10 people in front of him have been. If you expect a keeper to make up for the failings of the other 10 players at all times, you're going to be disappointed an awful lot.
No, I remember when he had a decent 10 in front of him, an attacking force that could have made the playoffs had we been able to keep a few more goals out of our own net. I said then the weak spot was the goalkeeper position. It's become less obvious as the quality was sold off and replaced with dross. But then that confirms the problem, if he was good enough he'd have stood out as the star man in a side that never looked worthy of staying in the Championship.

SSN have us rejecting a 100k bid for Charlie Mulgrew from Wednesday.

Hard to imagine we'd turn down that kind of money.

Re goallies I think most would agree that Brad was the best, but a keeper that I admired who seems to have been forgotten was Terry Gennoe - on a par with Robbo imo.

100,000 for Mulgrew. He is worth a lot more than that. We should do a swap deal for Jordan Rhodes.

As long as we've got Graham I think I'd prefer Mulgrew to Rhodes

Craig Conway again misses out with a hamstring injury whilst Darragh Lenihan, Charlie Mulgrew & Ben Gladwin aren't risked with minor niggles
Minor Niggles?... is he a trialist?

He who must not be named is suggesting Stuart Ripley's goalkeeping kid, Connor, may be a target. He's spent time on loan at Oldham and their fans really rate him.

Stuart Ripley confirms he's considering his options.

Terry was my Games teacher when I was at high school. Just saying.

Mowbray says Raya has earned a shot at the first choice spot.

I'd say it was unlikely we'll move for Ripley then as he'd probably to start.

Rejected a £1.25m bid for Lenihan from Sheffield Wednesday.
We really are getting greedy.
Lucky for us it's not Wednesday's day today, probably because it's a Tuesday. :yeahright:

Sound like they're Sheffield divided if there's two teams...
