He was decent a few years ago at Watford but his recent record of 1 goal for Sunderland in 30 appearances and 7 in 41 at 3 loan clubs just seems like we've got another striker who won't be scoring. Of course Rudi's record wasn't that good either, but if we're going to persevere with the long-ball hoof tactics we've employed in our last few games I don't have much hope of him banging the goals in.

We have said we are open to listen to offers over 12m.
Who is "we"? Lambert said he hadn't heard anything about him leaving.

And we still haven't had any... it's pointless speculation.

No, no, no. The club are clearly lying to us, they have nothing to gain by telling the truth; meanwhile, the media, that paragon of virtue and truth must know that offers have been made and likely accepted. They're one hundred percent accurate on every transfer story.

Nope, that will be you misunderstanding my argument still. But then one expects that from someone only sees things in black or white.

Very happy with this signing. I doubt we'll be 40+ goals up front like we had with Rhodes and Rudy but surely Graham and Stokes is better than Brown and Delfouneso! I still wouldn't mind seeing us go for Watt!
