Hardly surprising, we've been in talks with them since before he had to go back.

Shouldn't we have been looking around to see who else we could have got on loan? :yeahright:

Though I'd be putting a creative midfield above a forward anyway.
Might not have been as crazy as I first thought now that he's come out and said that he wont play for Leicester again. It may just be posturing to try and force his way out by the end of today, but if he doesn't get a move (and Ranieri has said that he doen't want rid) I'd not be surprised if he and Ranieri bury the hatchet by the end of the week.

However, it's a pretty strong stance he's taken, and maybe Leicester would be better off sending him out on loan. If so, they'd probably not want him in the squad of a direct competitor, so the championship would be a good bet.

Ulloa is strongly linked to Sunderland.

Don't want him anyway, his name is pronounced with letters that aren't there. :paranoid:

This is great news. Although I'm not sure why we're spending wages to have Joao here too given that there is also Stokes.

We've got more than enough firepower would be nice to see a defender or midfielder come in.

There might not be Stokes by the end of the day...

It appears he hasn't played in a game yet. I like this guy, wish we could get him back. He almost ruined ManU single-handedly in FA Cup last year.

I'm happy with Emnes too - don't forget that the only fit winger we have is Conway, and Emnes took on that role well last year. And that goal.......mmmmm.

Tony Mowbray was only today talking about what he would like to add to the team in the upcoming transfer window. He said he would prefer to bring in players who showed individuality. Emnes showed flashes of brilliance last season and maybe worth an enquiry regarding a loan deal until the end of the season. Mowbray has shown in some cases he likes to sign players he has known before at previous clubs. Downing a good example. If one player Rovers have played this season and impressed and also known to Mowbray i would say it would be Graham Carey at Plymouth. He is held in high regard by the pilgrims and would not like to lose him.
