The one thing missing from his CV is relegation to League 1... :yeahright:

Because I've never rated him as a player, he'll almost certainly prove me wrong and be instrumental in helping us unexpectedly achieve promotion this season. :hyper:

Can't imagine him being an absolute turd but I have been proven wrong before. Hopefully still has something left in him to compete.

The FA need to investigate this asset stripping by Venky's and find out why they're actually increasing the wage bill... :paranoid:

Venky's who once employed one Mark Smith... Wes Brown, represented by WMG management, who once employed one Mark Smith... WMG at Warwick Uni who once employed one Mark Smith... Warwick Uni who once employed one Mark E Smith... Brix and her obvious link to the BRIC... Venky's/The Fall stooges the lot of them. You heard it here first.

Were/are they in The Fall? Everyone else was. I suppose there is still time if not.

Who is this Nicko people are talking about? Trying to sound like they are the same person as Nacko? No link to Nicko's Nitros who are of course from that OTHER Warwick? Hmm, odd.

What is curious is that the Anderson Group collaborate with Prof. Greg Challis (you guessed it - the University of Warwick) on exploring aspects of the biosynthesis of polyketide natural products. Obvious links to Venky's nutritional health division there!

I actually think this a reasonable signing. He has a lot of experience. He has played at the top level so even if he doesn't/cant play every week the younger/less experienced players will learn from him. especially combining his role with the under 23s.

I agree. My problem with him has always been that I don't think he's as good as the hype that surrounded him suggested. That's not to say that he can't do a job at this level, a very good job even.

Getting him in as a reserve team coach to assist Dunny and Johnson could be a inspired move too.

I agree Gibbon - the only problem I have with the signing is that I've always felt Brown was one of a handful of players who got carried along to success by his superior United teammates.

That's a fair point. but then the english press love to over hype any young english player to a crazy level. If I remember correctly he kept David May out of the united team so cant have been too shabby  :hyper:

Whether he was carried or not (he was), he played for one of the top teams in the world in his prime and represented England, so he's not going to be a bad signing. He's an experienced head to help bring through the younger ones, and hopefully cut out some of the silly mistakes we've been making.
Having said that, whether he's got the fitness and sharpness needed to be effective remains to be seen, but he's been hanging around in Blackburn long enough now for Coyce & co to have had a good look at him.
